ECF was founded by Rev. Jousette
Anaya in June of 1991 and is the first born ministry of the Jousette Anaya
Ministries family. ECF was established in obedience to the mandate the Lord gave
Bishop Anaya to 'touch the world for Jesus Christ' and it has become the
breeding ground for future pastors, leaders and evangelists.
Pastor Josie felt the call of God
at a very young age. Knowing that God had called her since her childhood, her
mother, the late Pastor Rosa Anaya, directed her steps and trained her in the
ways of the Lord. By the age of 16, Pastor Anaya was an evangelist and by the
age of 18 she was a missionary. At the age
of 21, while she was still an employee of the federal government, God called her
to full time ministry as a pastor. Leaving her career, she answered this call
and in June of 1991, she was ordained under the sponsorship of the Open Door
Ministry which was headed by Pastor Rosa.
